I don't have too many photos of storm damage, but the few I have show the awesome power these beasts of nature possess.
April and July 2006 Wadena, MN and Anoka, MN: Various photos of old storm damage from years gone by.
August 11, 2001 Sioux Narrows, Canada: A small storm exploded without warning over our cabin on Lake of the Woods near Sioux Narrows and brought down dozens of trees around our cabin (with us inside). After the 30 seconds of terror, I went out with my VHS camcorder and surveyed the damage on the island. Sorry for the poor image quality.
July 1, 1997 Andover, MN: The infamous July 1, 1997 superstorm that downed thousands of trees in the northern metro area took down two of our trees, a flowering crab apple and split a 100 year old oak tree down the middle. These photos show the initial damage and the progress of the cleanup from July 2 to July 5.
